About ICVBD 2027
ICVBD 2027 will bring together students, researchers, academicians, policymakers, industry experts, product development partners, programme managers and pest management associations to advance the control and elimination of vector-borne diseases and household pests.
The conference will feature discussions on major diseases such as malaria, filariasis, leishmaniases, arboviral diseases, zoonotic diseases, and rickettsial diseases. It will also address vector biology, surveillance and control, invasive species monitoring, and insecticide resistance management.
A key focus will be on practical challenges in disease elimination and the need for sustainable, science-based solutions. Delegates will explore new tools, technologies, including molecular methods, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital systems, and drone-based surveillance.
The conference will also examine the effects of climate change, urbanisation, One Health approaches, and urban pest management and regulatory ecosystem for product innovation. Overall, the event aims to encourage knowledge exchange, highlight recent innovations, and support stronger public health responses to emerging and persistent vector-borne disease threats.
