Main themes (these will be revised based on submission of abstracts)
1. Biology, ecology and transmission dynamics of disease vectors.
2. Surveillance and diagnostic tools: Vectors and humans (insecticide resistance monitoring/management, molecular xenomonitoring, omics, field-deployable diagnostics, point-of-care tests, multiplex tests, mosquito traps).
3. Changing landscapes: Climate change, environmental disruption, urbanisation and emerging risks.
4. One Health surveillance systems & pandemic preparedness (zoonotic spillovers, wildlife surveillance)
5. Invasion and geographical expansion of vectors.
6. Digital tools for surveillance and control (drones, RS/GIS, automated vector monitoring, interactive dashboards, integrated data platforms/analytics, AI/ML, predictive modelling).
7. Epidemiology, surveillance and management of VBDs in rural and urban environments.
a. Mosquito-borne diseases (malaria, filariasis, West Nile virus, JE, Dengue, CHIKV, Zika).
